Do you pick one of these devices up when you feel stressed or anxious? Are your kids just parked night and day on theirs? Using these devices to communicate is fine but when you need that dopamine boost you get from chatting on a particular app or shopping or videos or many other things and you are not dealing with what is causing you anxiety then its a crutch.
It can become an addiction. For you, your kids and being in such a digital world these days it’s very hard to separate the need from using these devices from using these Improperly. If you are at the point of not knowing where to draw the line using the devices, speak to a counselor and you can get some ideas about where proper use begins and improper use should end.
