Susan Gierhart, M.Ed. LPC, School Psychologist, CC
Susan is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a 24 year veteran in the field of education. She received her Bachelor’s degree from Oklahoma State University in Secondary English Education, her Master’s Degree from East Central University in Secondary School Counseling, and her Post-Master’s Certifications in School Psychometry and School Psychology from East Central University.
Susan enjoys working with both older adolescents and adults. She has experience working with generalized anxiety disorder, depression, and marriage counseling. As a school counselor and certified school psychologist, Susan has focused mainly on solution-focused brief therapy. However, in her counseling practice she uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help her clients.
Susan’s counseling philosophy is rooted in Carl Rogers’ counseling philosophy of Unconditional Positive Regard and Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy.

Brent Hazelrigg has over 20 years of experience in doing pastoral care and counseling with families and individuals of all ages. He has an Associates from OCC, Bachelors from UCO, Masters from Southwestern Seminary and doctorate from OCU.
In Brent’s impressive 20+ years of ministry, he has countless hours doing counseling with teenagers and adults. His role regularly calls for counseling to navigate parent and child dynamics, marriage therapy, premarital therapy, crisis, career, bereavement, grief, substance abuse, counseling for anxiety and depression, spiritual guidance.
As a Christian Counselor, Masters’s level counselor, and life coach Brent uses a cognitive behavioral approach to help his clients to navigate life issues and non-severe psychopathological issues. Brent is not an LPC. In cases where there is a need for clinical assessment and intervention Brent and the clinicians at the Owen Clinic take a collaborative approach to help clients have their needs met.

Paul is currently accepting new patients at life psychiatric in Edmond . As a Christian prescriber, he believes in a holistic approach to treatment, recognizing the interconnectedness of mind, spirit, and body. His passion lies in collaborating with patients and therapists to support individuals in achieving optimal health and well-being.
In his practice, Paul strives to bridge the gap between medicine and faith, acknowledging that they need not be in conflict. While medication addresses symptoms, he understands the importance of comprehensive solutions to life’s challenges. Paul empathizes with the exhaustion that can come from navigating both physical and mental health concerns while managing life’s demands.
Originally from Oklahoma, Paul grew up in the quaint town of Jones and graduated from Jones High School. Destini Ramsey brings a wealth of experience and expertise to her role as a counselor at the Owen Clinic. She has training as a first responder, and was a certified teacher in early childhood (pre K-12th grade). With six years of dedicated service in working with women, children, adolescents, and their families, Destini’s journey towards becoming a licensed professional counselor is marked by a commitment to holistic care and personal growth.
Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Psychology and Counseling with an emphasis on Trauma care from Regent University, Destini holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling from Mid-America Christian University. Her educational background is diverse, having also studied nursing at Oklahoma Baptist University and family studies and gerontology at Southern Nazarene University.
Destini has a passion for understanding and applying counseling modalities to fit the personality and strengths of her clients. Jack Smith, M.S., LPC, C.C.
In reunification therapy, Jack firmly believes in creating a safe environment where children can express themselves, aiming to facilitate healing and reconciliation within families. He has a deep passion for working with children, particularly those facing anger or behavioral issues, and believes in addressing root causes to guide clients toward emotional growth.
Jack’s marriage therapy skills extend to helping couples navigate challenges from infidelity to poor communication. Tim Thomsen, M.Ed., C.C., Life Coach
Tim Thomsen has a Master of Education from East Central University and a Bachelor of Science from Oklahoma Baptist University. With experience from pastoral care to life coach ranging from individual to family or team, he wants to walk alongside you in whatever circumstance you might be in.
Life can be difficult, but with the right guidance we can find a direction to get through it. Amanda holds a bachelor’s degree in family and gerontology, and a master’s degree in clinical counseling. As a fully licensed Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Christian Counselor, she brings a comprehensive skill set to her practice, with a notable expertise in cognitive behavioral therapy for individuals of all ages.
Her professional journey commenced during her practicum at Crossroads Youth and Family Services in Norman, where she engaged with clients across all age groups. During this tenure, she actively participated in juvenile court proceedings, offering counseling services to youth in need.

Mike Stiglets (Mr. Piggy) M.Ed., C.C., MHC
Mike Stiglets, affectionately known as Mr. Piggy, brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his role at the Owen Clinic following his illustrious career in education. With forty-six years of service as a teacher, principal, and college professor, his transition to becoming a master’s level counselor, Christian Counselor, and Mental Health Coach is seamless.
Having been recognized as Mid-Del Teacher of the Year in 2001 and earning the distinction of runner-up for State Teacher of the Year, Mr. Piggy’s dedication to education is undeniable. His influence extends beyond the classroom, as evidenced by his engagements as a keynote speaker for various organizations and his facilitation of numerous workshops on subjects ranging from discipline to creative writing.
In his counseling Mr. Piggy employs a cognitive-behavioral and person-centered approach, tailored to the individual needs of children and parents alike. This approach allows him to effectively assist children dealing with trauma, anxiety, and self-esteem challenges, while also guiding couples and individuals in improving communication by understanding learning styles, love languages, and love needs. Mr. Piggy is not an LPC, he is a christian counselor, masters level counselor, and a mental health coach and has countless hours guiding individuals with parenting and young people learn how to navigate life.
