When people sometimes seek counseling they may lack a focus of exactly what they came there for. It seems it’s always someone else’s problem or issue. Never about them. But it seems to be affecting them.
When you know somethings isn’t right wether it be happiness, relationships, and a host of other things and you are seeking therapy you might want to consider that you may have issues too. Just like your wife or you boss. They are all severely in need of help. Right?
A counselor might be able to hear your concerns and point out or lead you to find you have issues too. You don’t have issues?
Unless your life is full and totally happy and you have no other things to accomplish in life I doubt it. Self examination with a trained counselor might just be very enlightening.
Maybe you will you can accomplish more or have better relationships with people. The positive things you might get by self reflection could bring you fulfillment or happiness or solve things that haven’t been right in a long time and really help your present circumstances.
To seek help from a licensed professional counselor will be very helpful. Sometimes we just need that other person to help us see what we need to see and know.
