Communication between kids and their parents is crucial for a long term relationship between parent and child. If you have had a totally one sided or one way communication with your kids they may not want or worse, refuse to talk to you or lie and tell you what you want to hear and then go do what they want. Your children do speak with their peers and get some if not all their information from them. This isn’t good. This is why it is important to get the lines of communications open with your children while you still can. The older they get the more they don’t or won’t listen to you.
