They most likely don’t know how to get through this. It can come out as acting up in school or getting into trouble. Remember they most likely had nothing to do with the situation. A kid can have a really difficult time dealing with that.

Even your teenagers who might seem somewhat grown up, well it’s the same situation for them too. If you are having trouble with your behavior no matter if it’s losing your temper with them or yelling at your spouse they most likely don’t know what to do with that.
