Sleep. If you don’t get enough your body and mind aren’t working at an optimum level. We have a circadian rhythm. Our body is expecting a normal scheduled and predictable time to go to sleep and a time to wake.

Lack of a schedule to sleep will leave you sluggish, sleepy and not at your best. It can take a period of time once this rhythm is interrupted to reset
and get on a schedule.

Establish a quiet relaxing bedtime routine, relax your mind and body, make your bedroom conducive to sleep, put clocks in the bedroom out of sight, avoid caffeine after 12:00pm, get regular exercise but not at bedtime and only go to bed when you are sleepy.
