Validation

In our lives all of us strive for some kind of validation or a value of what we do or who we are. This validation hopefully began as a child with one or both parents. Validation from our parents as a child is extremely important and will carry into our adult life.
If we didn’t receive validation as a child from a parent sometimes a teacher or coach or even into adult life validation can come from a boss or coworker or even friends or possibly church members.
If we didn’t receive and kind of validation in our lives early on then many people will seek this for the rest of their lives. Some will not find it unless they seek professional help to learn more about themselves.
Self validation is possible but not very likely. Believing in yourself and knowing you are good or even great at something is difficult at best. Having validation from other people is of very importance. The most important validation will have come from parents hopefully as it is done early on in life.
